This
is an excellent example of a clean
thermostat installation on an RS125
bike. |
| Craig
used a Tee connector to cut into the
lower radiator line and a straight piece
of 3/4" hose to connect the lower
thermostat bypass output to the Tee. |
|
|
|
Two
pre-formed 90 degree bends and straight
coupler to connect the upper thermostat
fitting to the top of the radiator.
Using pre-formed bends will keep your
hoses from kinking. |
| Here
you can see another pre-formed bend
which was used to connect the output on
the cylinder head to the input "side" of
the thermostat. |
|
|
Remember, since the temperature
sensor for your temperature gauge is
in the radiator, it will no longer
show actual engine coolant
temperature. It will only show the
temperature of the coolant in the
radiator.
